PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce group delay time deviation of a surface acoustic wave device equipped with a reflector. SOLUTION: In this surface acoustic wave filter (surface acoustic wave device), having a structure in which IDT 3a and 3b at an input side and IDT 4a and 4b at an output side and those reflectors 5a and 5b are arranged, so as to be adjacent to the outside of at least one side IDT 4a and 4b on a piezoelectric board 1, and the respective reflectors 5a and 5b are constituted, so that the group delay time of the reflection coefficient of the reflector inside the pass band can be made longer than that at the edge of the pass band of the surface acoustic wave device to be inputted.
