PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power line carrier communication system for easily specifying each terminal apparatus, even if plural terminal apparatuses are connected to a power line, and at the same time, preventing misoperations and wrong settings. SOLUTION: An LED section 2 is provided at a terminal apparatus A, a setting apparatus B acquires the identification information in the plural terminal apparatuses A, that are connected to the power line by power line carrier communication, and when the setting apparatus B transmits a confirmation signal to the terminal apparatus A, which corresponds to the identification information, the terminal apparatus A that has received it performs reporting by the LED section 2, in the power line carrier communication system.
