PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount an inter-hetero phase linear signal transmission apparatus to the load side of a breaker that is mounted to each of two different phase lines out of a single-phase three lines. SOLUTION: In the inter-hetero phase linear signal transmission apparatus 20 for electric light wire communication, when a load can be connected to each of two different phase lines (L1, L2) from among single-phase three lines (L1, L2, N) via breakers 14 (B21, B22) and the signal transmission apparatus 20 is to be connected between the load sides than the breakers 14 (B21, B22) at the two different phase lines (L1, L2), a switch 24 is provided to the signal transmission line 21 in the signal transmission apparatus 20.
