PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generating of a dark spot by moisture and occurring of exfoliation of a negative electrode in display equipment using an organic light emitting diode(OLED). SOLUTION: Making a peripheral edge part of a sealed substrate (a 2nd substrate) 102 have a convex-like structure, a gap between the sealed substrate and an element substrate is controlled by the convex-like part. Then, a layer 106, which has needed adhesive ability sticking the sealing substrate and the element substrate becomes unnecessary, and for this reason, the layer 16 can be made as thinly as possible. Thus, quantity of the moisture, which invades the sealing domain passing the layer, which consists of an organic material and has adhesive ability, can be reduced.
