PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a braking device compact, especially to reduce a dimension along an axial direction. SOLUTION: In this inner part expanding type braking device B, a pair of electromagnetic brake parts 8 are oppositely installed at 180 deg. in correspondence with a brake drum inner peripheral surface 1a. Both ends of a brake shoe 18 are held by a protruding part 35 protrudingly provided on a fixing part 2a of a brake installing member 2.
