PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably operate for a long term without maintenance and improve reliability by preventing damage due to a partial load of a radial bearing in a horizontal shaft type pump such as a double suction volute pump or a horizontal shaft drainage pump. SOLUTION: A water passage is formed by surrounding a blade 2 fixed to a pump shaft 1 by a pump casing 3. Both sides of the pump shaft 1 are supported by bearings, a bearing in one side is formed by a radial bearing 4a comprising a sliding bearing, and a bearing in another side is formed by a radial bearing 4a comprising a sliding bearing and thrust bearings 4b and 4c arranged side by side to the radial bearing 4a. Sliding parts of both radial bearings 4a are formed by thermoplastic resin, and pumped water of the pump is used as lubricant for all bearings 4a, 4b, and 4c.
