PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for handling cargo in rainy weather, which is low in cost, simple in structure, and efficiently handles the cargo without wetting the cargo with rain. SOLUTION: Using the apparatus, a roof 17 of a hanger 16 for storing a ram truck 5 is telescopically constructed, and a traveling top board 18 is mounted on the roof 17 in a manner, being slidable in a longitudinal direction of the ram truck 5. Then, a traversing top board 20 is supported on the traveling top board 18, in a manner being slidable in the width direction of the ram truck 5, and a roof light window 14, through which a coil lifter 25 is inserted/ withdrawn is formed openably in the traversing top board 20. Further, joint portions 24 for covering peripheral portions of a cargo cover 6 are arranged at both ends of the hanger 16, and a sheet shutter 26 is arranged to be openable inside each joint portion 24.
