BACKLIGHT ASSEMBLY AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A backlight assembly and a liquid crystal display using the same are provided to solve a difference of lamps in brightness and improve the efficiency of assembly. CONSTITUTION: A backlight assembly(400) includes a receiving container(410); a lamp assembly(460) including a lamp tube sealed in a state of being putting predetermined gas inside, at least two or more cold cathode fluorescent lamps(462) for brightness self compensation including electrodes formed at both ends of the outer surface of the lamp tube, lamp socket units(463) fixing the electrodes inside the receiving container, a power supplying unit supplying power to the lamp socket unit; light diffusion elements(430,440) installed on the lamp assembly the medium of the receiving container to diffuse light generated in the lamp assembly.
