When a user accesses a control center by using a cellular terminal, it is decided whether "reserved riding" is possible depending on the date of using a vehicle and whether a specified date is in a period when reservation can be made. When the specified date is a date when reservation can be made, the reservation is accepted. Even when "reserved riding" and direct riding without reservation are mixed, it is possible to provide a vehicle sharing system not lowering the capacity usage ratio and having a high user-friendliness. Moreover, in accordance with reservation conditions input, the number of parked vehicles is counted for each port. When a port full of vehicles and not having a space for other vehicles is generated, a reservation using that port as an arrival point is inhibited. Moreover, check is made whether a user desires a type of vehicle which has been reserved. When the type of vehicle currently desired is different from the type reserved, the number of usable vehicles and the number of reserved vehicles are modified.
