The sealing element has a hollow chamber (12) surrounded by a sealing wall (13). The hollow chamber is connected to a pressure supply unit (8) by a pressure supply aperture (6) in the sealing wall. The pressure in the hollow chamber may be set at different settings by means of a control device on the pressure supply unit.
