The method involves detecting the magnetic induction variation with sensor elements (24,25) that rotate with the rotor, (22) whose rotor bearer has an associated magnetisable ring element (26), and generating signal curves for both sensor elements shifted by an electrical angle from the periodic magnetic reversal of the sensor elements.
