PROTEINS INVOLVED IN MULTIDRUG RESISTANCE IN GRAM-POSITIVES

Disclosed are proteins which are involved in resistance of Gram positive bacteria to antibiotics and their use for the identification of compounds which have an effect on their activity and/or expression. Said proteins are suitable for the production of antibiotic overproducing bacteria as well as the identification of compounds which reverse multi-drug-resistance, avoid or eliminate tolerance and persistence in bacteria.
