The invention relates to a capsule for preparing a drink, said capsule having improved opening properties and a longer preservation period. The invention comprises a portion of foodstuff that is mixed with a quantity of water in order to prepare the drink. The inventive capsule comprises a body (11) that defines a housing which receives the substance. Said capsule is characterised in that the body comprises an opening (21) that is adapted for the introduction of an element for emptying the capsule and in that the opening is sealed by means of a supple membrane (22) which can be torn off and which has less tensile strength than the material of the body.
