摘要 The bonnet (6) is constructed to have a certain delay profile corresponding to a rigidity of the bonnet on a point of impact of a head, for which an HIC value can be calculated. The front section (10) of the bonnet has lower rigidity than the rear section (11). Front rigidity corresponds to a simulated impact of a child's head, rear rigidity corresponds to a simulated impact of an adult's head. The bonnet has a layer of synthetic foam defining the different degrees of rigidity, it has a non-flexible structure, and collapses above a set load, to retain its deformation.
