The running gear consists of front and rear wheel supports(3,4) made of metal and wood, front and rear axles(13,14) made of wood, and an adjusting spindle(5) made of metal and wood and forming the connection between the front and rear wheel supports. The wheel supports are constructed in such a way that for any sledge type they must be placed only on the inner sides of the sledge's transverse struts(1,2). The wheel supports each have a support rail(8,9) which interconnect the wheel supports' side sections. By screwing out the adjusting spindle the wheel supports are pressed onto the transverse struts of the sledge so that the running gear is rigidly fixed. |
