The device displays data on a data sheet (6) with a data area to which pointers (2,4) are movably attached. The pointers can be moved in a translational manner relative to the data area. The data area is rectangular, and the points move parallel to on edge of the data area. The pointers may consist of bars of transparent material with a positioning line (3,5).
