Paper making process uses never-dried-pulp with additive introduced by chemical precipitation

In a paper-making process a fibre suspension transverse coating is discharged to a moving surface. One or more of the suspension cross sectional property profiles, is influenced by the incorporation of a fibre material into a defined segment. This fibre has esp. an additive introduced by chemical precipitation. An additive ash is introduced whose concentration is adjusted with respect to the segment. The composition of the fibre material is adjusted with respected to the segment and applied along the web outer margins. The fibre applied at the centre of the web is not modified by chemical precipitation. The changes are made by a control system. The transverse shrinkage and strength of the web product is adjusted by the application of an additive e.g. glue. The fibre material is pulp that has never previously been dried and holding a chemical additive driving precipitation.
