摘要 An omnifocus image is displayed as a moving image of a high frame rate. A real-time omnifocus microscope camera has a variable focus mechanism (11A) capable of varying the focal length at high repetition rate, a lens drive (16) for varying the focal length according to the number of repetitions by driving the mechanism (11A), a high-speed imaging camera (12) for imaging through the variable focusing mechanism (11A) at a high frame rate at which an image is captured plural times (e.g., 8 times) for every repetition cycle according to the number of repetitions, and an image processor (13) for processing the image captured by the camera (12) in real time to form an omnirfocus image. The omnifocus image is displayed on a monitor (15). The image processor (13) eliminates a ghost image caused when a blurred image of an object covers the peripheral part.
