An information processing system in which problems of limit of recognition, limit of communication range, characteristic bias and flood of information are solved by controlling the communication while totally taking into account the subject in a community, characteristics/value of a target event and their mutual dependence, and the desires of members or content participants for communication or gain are fulfilled. The information processing system comprises a characteristics storage means for storing at least the influence of a subject onto the community and the caution to other subject as the characteristic data of the subject for a community where a plurality of subjects belong, a determination means at least having a function for selecting one or more subject i other than a subject k and determining the influencing power of the subject k based on the influencing power of the selected subject i and the attention of the selected subject i to the subject k, and means for outputting at least the characteristic data of the subject.
