<p>The invention concerns the maintenance by suction of an object (2) such as a smart card with an adjusted surface which consists in: urging into contact with the object (2) having an adapted surface a treatment member (24) after having pressed said object (2) against positioning means, and moving the treating member (24) into active position, under the effect of suction. The guiding between the active and retracted positions is provided by a flexible membrane (33) whereon the treating member (24) is mounted, in retracted position in a suction chamber (34); said chamber is hermetically sealed by the adjusted surface once it is brought into the predetermined position, thereby simultaneously maintaining the object (2) in position and displacing the treating member (24) in active position.</p> |
