The automobile seat has mounting points (23) to lock into the fittings (22) of the seat upholstery structure, to form a raised child's seat. The mounting points are secured into the seat structure between the rear upholstery section (5) of the seat (8,5) and the backrest (11), with a rocker arm (12), to form an integrated child's seat over the seat cushion. The backrest can swing forward over the seat carrier (3) into a table setting, and the leading seat section can swing upright at or below the level of the backrest when swung forwards.
