The geothermal heating system includes a heat pump. Its condenser heats the water of the heating circuit; its evaporator cools the brine circuit of the geothermal probe, which has flow and return lines in a subsurface borehole. The return line of the geothermal probe (5) is a central pipe (7) surrounded concentrically by a symmetrical arrangement of flow pipes (11). These enter a distribution head connected to the foot of the central pipe. The total area of the flow pipes is approximately equal to that of the return pipe. Preferably the latter is a pipe encased by thermal insulation (9). This is based on polyurethane, polystyrene, polyethylene or polyvinyl chloride. |
