A delivery switching type cap device adapted to be mounted on the mouth of a flexible or soft container for filling a viscous content, such as mayonnaise, catsup, okonomiyaki sauce, fried pork cutlet sauce, honey, mustard paste, wasabi paste, or soft margarine, the cap device being of double construction consisting of an inner plug cap member and an outer plug cap member, wherein turning the outer plug cap member makes it possible to cooperatively switch an output opening for a delivery flow channel to change the delivery quantity of the content or the delivery shape. In this case, the cap device comprises an inner plug cap member having a fixed output opening formed in the lid surface and an outer plug cap member turnably fitted on approximately the upper half of the inner plug cap member and having a plurality of individually functioning output openings formed in the lid surface. And, each output opening in the outer plug cap member is disposed to coincide with or to be aligned with the output opening in the inner plug cap member in different turning positions.
