<p>A CDMA cellular telephone apparatus capable of rapidly selecting a base station as a communication mate upon a communication start. The CDMA cellular telephone comprises a transmission/reception block (85), a logic control block (76), and a failed base station storage block (87). When the logic control block (76) selects one base station from a plurality of base stations via the transmission/reception block (85) for setting a communication line, if no reply is received from the selected base stations and setting of the communication line has failed, the selected base station is stored in the failed base station storage block (87), so that the base station stored in the failed base station storage block (87) is excluded when selecting a base station next time.</p> |
