The arrangement consists of a seat part and a backrest on an upright side wall of the passenger space. The backrest folds down into horizontal position. The side wall (6) has a holder aperture (9) to contain the backrest (4,4') almost completely when it is in upright position. The backrest is fastened to the side wall via a pivot unit, and side wall and backrest are a single modular unit. Two backrests are divided by an arm rest (16), which can be moved between a vertical position and a support position.
