Magnetic resonance imaging method for human body using partial parallel acquisition, by forming complete image data set from reduced set of corresponding coils

The method involves performing several spin excitations and measuring the high frequency response signal in each component coil of several HF receiving coils. A reduced data set is formed with additionally acquired calibration data points. A complete image data set is formed for each component coil based on the reduced data set of a corresponding coil and at least one further data set of another component coil. The image data set is spatially transformed. An Independent claim is included for a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus.
