ROTOR GAP CONTROL MODULE

The invention relates to a rotor gap control module (6) for a turbine machine with a rotor (5) and a housing, which surrounds the rotor, forming a rotor gap (S). The rotor gap control module is provided with an actuator, acting on a seal element (8) and displacing the same into or out of the rotor gap. In order to increase the response behaviour the seal element is smaller than the gap between two sequential rotor blades.
