<p>A permanent magnet type synchronous motor (6) with a three-phase P-pole N-coil structure comprising a stator (4) wherein N armature coils (41) wound concentratedly for forming rotary magnetic field are wound near the inner surface of a stator core (42) and a rotor (5) provided with a magnetic gap from the stator (4) and having P magnetic poles alternately varying in polarity near the surface of a rotor core (52) has such an arrangement of the armature coils (41) that the magnetomotive force vectors of the respective phases may concentrate each within the section of 120° when the number of coils N: N=3 x (22 x n + 1) and the number of poles P: P=N ± 1 (n is a natural number) with a magnetomotive force vector by the armature coil (41) during energization expressed by an electric angle of 0-360°. This constitution provides a permanent magnet type synchronous motor which approximates an induced voltage waveform to a sine wave, reduces the amplitude a cogging torque and a necessary skew angle, and is hardly influenced by an ambalance absorption force even under a large capacity.</p> |
