<p>The invention relates to a can opener that is used in cans whose lids have an attached ring. Said can opener has a body (1), a pin (2) ending in a tip (3) projecting from the periphery of said body outward. The body (1) has an inward step (4) on its periphery and next to the beginning of said pin (2). A shank (5) projecting outward from said step has a section that is slightly smaller than the eye of the ring. There is a separation (6)next to the beginning of said shank (2), which is big enough to fit part of said ring between said shank (5) and the wall of the above-mentioned step (4). The free end of said shank (5) follows the same curvature as the periphery of the body (1), the axis (2e) of the pin (2) and the axis (5e) of the shank (5) being parallel to one another.</p> |
