Radically-modified polymers (I) with a free radical compound at the chain end or in the chain which is stable in the presence of oxygen at normal temperature. Independent claims are also included for (a) polymer compositions containing (I) and a polymer (II) which can produce radicals in the polymer chain; and (b) polymer compositions comprising block and/or graft copolymers obtained by mixing (I) and (II).
