METHOD FOR FABRICATING VACUUM FLUORESCENT DISPLAY WITHOUT EXHAUST TUBE

PURPOSE: A method for fabricating a vacuum fluorescent display without an exhaust tube is provided to form a side glass of the vacuum fluorescent display device by bending the glass and bonding both ends of the glass to each other. CONSTITUTION: A side glass cutting process is performed to cut a side glass in the predetermined length(S1). A bending process is performed to heat a predetermined part of the side glass by using a torch(S2). An annealing process for the side glass is performed(S3). A side glass bonding process is performed to bond both ends of the side glass to each other(S4). A frit coating process is performed to coat the frit around one side of the side glass(S5). A plasticization process is performed to remove unnecessary components from the frit and harden the frit(S6).
