A vehicle security device comprises a securing device which is an elongate member 2 which has a first end 6 located in the foot pedal area of the vehicle and a second end which is passed through an aperture in the steering wheel. The member 7 is passed around one of the foot pedals, through the holes 3 and is locked in place by padlock 9. The end that passes through the steering wheel is preferably of such a size that it extends into the driver's position. In an alternative arrangement, the end 6 of the elongate member is formed such that at least one pedal is enclosed. Also disclosed is a security device comprising solely a pedal lock (see figs 49-51) wherein walls are attached to the vehicle with a locking member extending between the walls and preventing use of the pedals. |
