<p>The laminated product has a fluted medium component having flute tips adhesively bonded to inner surface of linerboard component(s) for sealing the inner surface of linerboard component, to prevent water from adhesive entering the pores of the linerboard. A coating is applied to the inner surface of the linerboard component before the components are bonded together for reducing show through. The laminated product has a fluted medium component having flute tips adhesively bonded to inner surface of the linerboard component(s) prepared from a lightweight 0.127-0.178 mm bleached papersheet. The components are bonded together to seal the inner surface of linerboard component to prevent water from adhesive entering the pores of the linerboard component. A coating is applied to the inner surface of the linerboard component before the components are bonded together for reducing show through. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) Method for preventing any show through of the flute tips on the outer surface of a laminated product by coating the inner surface of the linerboards before bonding; and (2) A paperboard substrate for use as a linerboard component, which has a papersheet whose outer surface is coated for printing high quality graphics and whose inner surface is coated in order to prevent show through of flute tips onto the outer surface.</p> |
