The roller bearing comprises an inner and outer races (11,12) with a raceway surfaces (20,21) and a plurality of rolling elements (15) located between the raceway surfaces. The rolling elements are formed by third generatrices with a fixed radius of curvature (R3) such that the contact surface is convex in the axial direction. The center sections (20a,21a) of the raceway surfaces is formed by first generatrices with a fixed radius of curvature (R1) and have axially concave shape. The raceway end sections (20b,21b) are formed by second generatrices with a fixed radius of curvature (R2) such that they separate form the rolling element rolling contact surface. The radius of curvature (R3) is equal to 0.65-0.95 times the radius of curvature (R1). |
