PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collecting bag for a vacuum cleaner having a sufficiently increased expansion volume, increased bottom closing adhesion strength and free from air leakage and dust leakage. SOLUTION: The dust collecting bag is composed of a bag body 1 in which both end parts of an opening of an air-permeable and flexible flat cylindrical body having perforated mouth paper 2 to be connected to a suction hose of the vacuum cleaner on one side of a body part are formed to be flat-bottomed.
