PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate an assembly and reduce a cost in an electric power steering device for assisting a steering by using an electric motor. SOLUTION: A flange 15 at the end part of a gear housing 7 is butted on a flange 16 at the end part, of a motor housing 11, and these flanges are connected to each other with screws. A drive control part 18 for controlling the driving of the motor 10 is stored in a storage part 19 formed in the gear housing 7. A terminal 23 led from the drive control part 18 and a terminal 24 led from the motor 10 are butted on each other at the butting part of the flanges 15 and 16, and connected to each other, for example, by a resistance welding. |
