PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for cleaning a PCB pollutant of high concentration, facilitating the dechlorination treatment of a used detergent and generating no heat decomposed product. SOLUTION: In the method and apparatus for cleaning the PCB pollutant, the PCB pollutant is washed using insulating oil and the pollutant after washed is heated and dried under vacuum and the insulating oil used in washing is subjected to dechlorination decomposition treatment. PCB-containing electric machinery is preliminarily washed and subsequently disassembled and separated using the insulating oil and the washed one is heated and dried under vacuum while the insulating oil used in washing is subjected to dechlorination decomposition treatment. |
