摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide mistletoe lectin in a pure form and in an amount enabling its use in a large scale. SOLUTION: The genetic sequence of the mistletoe lectin is provided for the first time. Thereby, individual highly pure recombinant chains (rMLA, rMLB) capable of being reassociated in vitro and used for producing homogeneous rML holoprotein related to protein chemistry, enzyme activity and structure can be started from the sequence.
