GAME SYSTEM AND COMPUTER READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM FOR REALIZING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a music game system which enables a person being unfamiliar with playing a musical instrument to enjoy an operation and satisfies a sense of accomplishment in performance. SOLUTION: The game system is provided with an input device 7 having a plurality of white keys 7a and black keys 7b which are arranged according to a keyboard instrument, an operation guide device 21 for guiding a series of operations in the input device 7 which are set correlation with a prescribed music performance via a guide screen 100 and a sound issuing controller for issuing sound with pitch corresponded to the respective keys in response to the depression of the keys in the input device 7. A correlation between the respective keys of the input device 7 and the pitch corresponded to each key is changed so that the same music can be performed if the keys 7a and 7b within a range being narrower than the operation range of the keyboard when the musical instrument is actually operated are operated. Relation between the arrangement order of the key depressing positions and the pitch of sound is made to coincide with that in the musical instrument.
