摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewage treatment method by aeration, by which flocs are surely formed without influence of a change in the environment and condition of sewage treatment, thereby efficiently treating sewage without the clogging of a carrier. SOLUTION: This sewage treatment method by aeration is performed to sewage materials in a sewage treatment tank 3 by using a carrier 1, containing an enzyme on its surface 1a so that the enzyme is in an exposed state. A carrier layer 4 is formed in the intermediate layer region in the sewage treatment tank 3. When aeration is carried out from the bottom of the carrier layer 4, air bubbles 5 are divided into smaller bubbles by passing the air bubbles through the carrier layer 4, and the air bubbles 5 adhere to and stay on the surface 1a of the carrier for a long period, which increases dissolved oxygen in the sewage to activate microorganisms. A layer of easily-peelable and dispersable deposit C is formed around the carrier 1 by enzymatic degradation and microbial degradation. The easily-peelable and dispersable deposit C is peeled off and dispersed at all times by a water flow and a bubble flow, thereby efficiently treating the sewage while preventing the clogging of the surface 1a of the carrier.</p>
