PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of a biting phenomenon between itself and a worm wheel tooth part at the time of assembling a worm shaft. SOLUTION: This electric storage type door mirror device is constituted of an electric motor 2, a worm mechanism 1 and a gear mechanism 5 to perform a role to transmit motive power from the electric motor 2, a base shaft 7 fixed on the door side, a holder 3 mounted free to carry out relative rotating motion against a shaft part 71 of the base shaft 7, on which a mirror housing 4 to store the mirror is mounted and to store the electric motor 2, the worm mechanism 1 and the gear mechanism 5 to rotationally work the mirror housing and the mirror around the shaft part 71. A guide part 115 an addendum circle diameter of which is reduced by one pitch of the worm tooth part 111 is provided at a lower end part of the worm shaft 11 to form the worm mechanism 1.
