A work machine has a receptacle 42 with a first lateral sidewall 44 including a first rail 50 which extends along the length of the receptacle. The first rail defines a first lower rail surface 52. The work machine further includes an ejector plate 60 extending transversely between the first lateral sidewall and a second lateral sidewall. The ejector plate being movable between a retracted position and an extended position by a cylinder 62 and having a first guide assembly secured thereto. The first guide assembly having a first leading roller 68 and a first trailing roller 66. When the ejector plate is moving from the retracted position to the extended position, the first leading roller contacts the first lower surface of the first rail, and the first trailing roller is spaced apart from the first lower surface of the first rail. When the ejector plate is moving from the extended position to the retracted position, the first leading roller is spaced apart from the first lower surface of the first rail and the first trailing roller contacts the first lower surface of the first rail. Preferably, a second rail and guide assembly are provided on the other lateral wall. Preferably a support roller 78 and support member (82, Figs 2A and B) are provided for the ejector plate with the distance between the plate lower edge being adjustable e.g. by a cam on the roller 78 axle. The lower edge of the ejector is spaced from the floor by a greater distance when the ejector is retracted than vice versa. |
