PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink cartridge by which a remaining amount of ink can be detected correctly. SOLUTION: The ink cartridge is provided with an ink package 20 comprised of a bag-shaped body for holding ink to be supplied to an ink jet head, a remaining amount detection plate 30 jointed to an outer face of the ink package 20 and having a detecting part 31 for detecting the remaining amount of ink by moving by an amount of ink in the ink package 20, and a covering case 40 for holding the ink package 20. A positioning plate 35 is set to an outer face of the opposite side to the remaining amount detection plate 30 of the ink package 20, which is jointed to a predetermined position with respect to a joint position of the remaining amount detection plate 30 and jointed to a predetermined position of the covering case 40. |
