PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for trimming the spews of a tire by which an appearance failure can be eliminated by cutting the spews short and neatly without injuring the tire. SOLUTION: A vulcanizing and molding die 1 has a plurality of vent holes 2... for forming the spews, which are inclined at an angle of inclinationθof 10 to 50 deg. with a radial line G as viewed from an axial center P direction, at least in a tread molding part 7. In this molding die 1, a green tire is set and vulcanized. A plurality of the spews formed in the tread part of the tire are cut with the help of a cutter, while the tire is rotated in the inclination direction of the spews formed in the tire after vulcanization.
