<p>The method involves using a holder (31), on which a carrier is removably fixed in a charge-discharge position. The carrier moves between recording, charge-discharge and intermediate positions, which are spaced from each other. An intermediate frame (42) is provided, to carry the holder in a direction running at an angle to the horizontal, which crosses the charge-discharge unit of the cassette (17) and the raising direction. A guide frame (46) is provided, to movably carry the intermediate frame in the charge/discharge direction of the cassette. A first movement direction limiting facility is provided, to facilitate movement of the holder, relative to the guide frame (46), within a region of the movement range of the intermediate frame in the charge/discharge direction of the cassette, only in the charge/discharge direction of the cassette. A second movement direction limiting facility is provided, to facilitate movement in the raised direction, relative to the guide frame, within the other region of the movement range of the intermediate frame in the charge/discharge direction of the cassette.</p> |
