PURPOSE:To provide an ink tank so constituted as to avoid danger that ink is scattered from an ink supply port when the seal member of the ink tank is tone to facilitate the tearing work of a seal material and utilized in an ink jet cartridge and an ink jet recording apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A thin-walled part 31A is provided in the periphery of the ink supply port 13 of an ink tank and the internal space of the ink supply port 13 between the ink holding member 15 in the ink tank and the seal material 16 sealing the ink supply port 13 is reduced. |
