PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove the many saprophytic bacteria propagating in bath water which cannot be cleaned up by a detergent and cleaning filter with a washing machine having bath water supplying means for supplying the bath water by slow solubilizing means capable of cost effectively and automatically feeding a bleaching agent, sterilizing agent, etc., at a low cost for a long period of time with simple constitution without requiring the labor for feeding the same at every washing and to hygienically wash the laundry. SOLUTION: This washing machine is provided with a pump device 2 for supplying the bath water into a washing basket 1 to be fed with the laundry and a cartridge section 10 in which a slow solubilizing agent 11 for acting and solubilizing on and in the bath water passing a water feed hose 4 of this pump device 2 is housed is arranged in mid-way of this hose.
