PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording medium, capable of high- density recording and reproducing of information by irradiation with the laser beam of a short wavelength of not higher than 450 nm and especially near the wavelength of 405 nm high in conventionality and capable of recording and reproducing by both of a short wavelength laser beam having the wavelength of not higher than 450 nm and a laser beam having the wavelength of 750-850 nm, which is used in a conventional CD-R while excellent in recording characteristics and conventionality. SOLUTION: In the optical information recording medium having a recording layer capable of recording the information by irradiation with a laser, beam having a wavelength of not higher than 450 nm on a substrate, phthalocyanine derivative is contained in the recording layer. |
