PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balloon catheter 10 for hemostasis which is suitable for the hemostasis/repair of an artery group or the like which is cut and separated from a lesion artery, and by which an operation can be safely and efficiently performed. SOLUTION: This balloon catheter 10 for hemostasis is equipped with a balloon section 1 at the distal end of a shaft section 2 comprising a flexible resin tube. In such a balloon catheter 10 for hemostasis, for the shaft section 2, the bending rigidity from the distal end section to the rear end section does not change substantially. The value of the bending rigidity is 0.15 gf.cm<2> /cm or lower. The retentive force for direct advance is larger than 0.5. The total length is 300 mm or lower. |
