<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system that confirms the arrival of an electronic mail at a minimum load. SOLUTION: Information required to inquire of a mail server about the presence of an arrived electronic mail is set to a sub address information element in a line switching connection request (setup message), and a call is made to a dedicated server in a dedicated access point to confirm the arrival of electronic mails. The dedicated server inquires of a user mail server about the presence or arrived electronic mails, on the basis of the information in the sub address. The dedicated server interrupts a channel, without responding to an incoming call of a user after sending a call message when there is an arrived electronic mail or without sending the call message, when no arrived electronic mail is in existence.</p> |
